NAACP Image Awards Winners Announced

The NAACP Image Awards was held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles last night. The show, hosted by Steve Harvey, aired live on the East Coast on NBC.

 HARRY BELAFONTE and SIDNEY POITIER

The best moment of the show was when Sidney Poitier presented Harry Belafonte with the Spingarn Award, which honors outstanding achievement by an African American. His honor was followed by a serenade from Wyclef Jean and Common.
